Adding Colors of my World to my Journal!

Hello Sparkly Owlettes!!

This month is all about Rainy Days and Rainbows! As suggested in the Owlette club, here are some of the ways to add a bit of rainbow to your journals.

  • wear a color that makes you feel happy (Take a picture and add it to your journal)
  • make a rainbow snack or drink (add the recipe to your journal) ​take a “color walk” and notice bright things (pick your colors before hand and take photos along the way)
  • Add the pictures to your journal and tell what and where you found the colors*** I’m really excited abut this one!
  • • create a cozy rainy‑day ritual (Even if it isn’t rainy, what do you love to do on a rainy day)
  • • write a list of things that feel like happy bits of sunshine I hope you enjoy this month’s printables! Have fun creating!

Hello Sparkly Owlettes~

I am behind in my creative daily journal but had pictures to add, so come along , grab your favorite beverage and let’s journal together! Filling you in on the what’s been happening around here. Grandma’s Bucket List for Journaling

Hello Sparkly Owlettes!

I wanted to create a fun little game to welcome in Spring/ Fall, depending on which hemisphere you are in, and what better way than with a Grandma-themed twist. Each bucket list idea is something you can add to your journal, stickers, yarn, lace, or buttons. Once items are completed, cut out the list item and add it to your map.

I hope you cozy up this season, add soft touches to your desk, a candle, lace doilies, creating a special place for your pens and ephemera. Be sure to add your pictures to the chat, would love to see what you create!

Making a Bookmark Charm using “Grandma’s Tin Goodies”

Remember Grandma’s trinket tin filled with little trinkets? One of the prompts this month is to recreate a tin. I wanted to turn those tiny forgotten treasures, buttons, charms, safety pins, broken earrings, and mystery doodads—into a whimsical bookmark charm. I’m using a art doodle of a carrot “Bunny Bait” (Printable attached)

Journal with Me~ Daily Jourrnal: Wuthering Heights

Hello Sparkly Owlettes! Spent my Valentine’s morning going to the movies and watching Wuthering Heights, I havn’t read the book but I did read some a few summaries to see what the storyline was. Actually, Brazos and I realized we watched a movie a couple of years ago called Emily, abut Emily Bronte, and I remember reading it was a “Gothic Romance” I personally enjoyed the movie, and cried. To find true love but not be able to have each other. 🙁 Have you watched the movie?
