Hello Sparkly Owlettes, In today’s video I am using the Sunny Honey Days CWR Journal kit, I want this month to feel like “Summer at Grandmas” with journaling, crafts and all the cozy feels. I am decorating the cover to my mini summer journal. This journal will capture the highlights of the summer. Here’s to romanticizing the summer.

Berry Sweet Camp “Happy Mail” Swap

Hello Campers!

Welcome to the Berry Sweet Camp Swap! This  year for the “Free to Join” Virtual Camp “Happy Mail” SWAP we will be swapping ribbons for a special project we will have during camp!

Recently, I went to Salado, Texas on a site visit and in the museum, they had a friendship ladder covered in ribbons! The tradition was that friends would exchange ribbons and add them to a wooden ladder as a token of friendship. I thought this would be a fun thing to add to swaps and create a project using them. This also makes a colorful token from our Berry Sweet Friends!

Here is what to expect:

You will be grouped and swapping with 3 other campers.

Along with the ribbon, please feel free to add charms, ephemera and other items to your happy mail.

Last day to sign up is Sunday, May 31, 2026 and emails of your swap partners will be emailed on Friday, June 5, 2026. Please ship your happy mail by Saturday, June 20th.

(This is optional and not required as part of participating in camp.)

Happy Sweet Swapping. Here is the link to fill out the form to sign up! https://forms.gle/4o1CKcVFoJEXeGeM9

Hello Sparkly Owlettes!

Setting up my May Journal~ Cozy, Blooms and Fluff

Happy Weekend Sparkly Owlettes,

It’s a new month, which means a new journal! So excited to start this month with flowers and fluff. This month’s theme is “The Garden Within” and I’m using vintage fabric I purchased this last weekend at a Junk Shop and fluff from Hobby Lobby to finish the cover to my journal.

Also, I’ve had a new idea brewing for a while, I’ve been wanting to incorprate the monthly journal kit into my everyday life. The kit will inspire The Owlette Club printables, prompts, crafty projects and little things we can have fun with together. It’s a way for me to “create the life I want to live” in other words. The monthly theme will inspire my personal creative process into something I do in everyday moments. As I mention in the video, this can be adding to my journal, decorating my home, and my personal style too! I hope you will come along and play too!

Junk Journal for Little Craft Fest 2026 Memories

Hello Sparkly Owlettes!

I have been dreaming of creating a stand-alone journal for Little Craft Fest memories. I went back and forth on if I should just use my daily journal, but I wanted something to create something similar to an autograph book and add ephemera and photos from the event. I will be there for three days, teaching and meeting up with friends. Some in person for the first time! I truly cannot wait, I’m so excited. In today’s video I am just putting together the journal, and I want to add paint and material to the cover, so that will be coming soon!

Adding Colors of my World to my Journal!

Hello Sparkly Owlettes!!

This month is all about Rainy Days and Rainbows! As suggested in the Owlette club, here are some of the ways to add a bit of rainbow to your journals.

  • wear a color that makes you feel happy (Take a picture and add it to your journal)
  • make a rainbow snack or drink (add the recipe to your journal) take a “color walk” and notice bright things (pick your colors before hand and take photos along the way)
  • Add the pictures to your journal and tell what and where you found the colors*** I’m really excited abut this one!
  • • create a cozy rainy‑day ritual (Even if it isn’t rainy, what do you love to do on a rainy day)
  • • write a list of things that feel like happy bits of sunshine I hope you enjoy this month’s printables! Have fun creating!

Yesterday I took a walk around the yard and snapped photos of colors, here is a short video:
