Junk Journal for Little Craft Fest 2026 Memories

Hello Sparkly Owlettes!

I have been dreaming of creating a stand-alone journal for Little Craft Fest memories. I went back and forth on if I should just use my daily journal, but I wanted something to create something similar to an autograph book and add ephemera and photos from the event. I will be there for three days, teaching and meeting up with friends. Some in person for the first time! I truly cannot wait, I’m so excited. In today’s video I am just putting together the journal,and I want to add paint and material to the cover, so that will be coming soon!

Hello Sparkly Owlettes~

I am behind in my creative daily journal but had pictures to add, so come along , grab your favorite beverage and let’s journal together! Filling you in on the what’s been happening around here. Nothing too exciting except we are chicken owners again, full story in the video. I have a printout for an upcoming journal session, Grandma’s Bucket List, and sharing my grandma’s lemon pie recipe.

Grandma’s Bucket List for Journaling

Hello Sparkly Owlettes!

I wanted to create a fun little game to welcome in Spring/ Fall, depending on which hemisphere you are in, and what better way than with a Grandma-themed twist. Each bucket list idea is something you can add to your journal, stickers, yarn, lace, or buttons. Once items are completed, cut out the list item and add it to your map.

I hope you cozy up this season, add soft touches to your desk, a candle, lace doilies, creating a special place for your pens and ephemera. Be sure to add your pictures to the chat, would love to see what you create!

Journal with Me~ Daily Jourrnal: Wuthering Heights

Hello Sparkly Owlettes! Spent my Valentine’s morning going to the movies and watching Wuthering Heights, I havn’t read the book but I did read some a few summaries to see what the storyline was. Actually, Brazos and I realized we watched a movie a couple of years ago called Emily, abut Emily Bronte, and I remember reading it was a “Gothic Romance” I personally enjoyed the movie, and cried. To find true love but not be able to have each other. 🙁 Have you watched the movie?

Hello Sparkly Owlettes! I hope you are doing wonderful and enjoying the most magical time of the year! I have been thinking a lot about a whimsical work of Fairy Tales, meaning seeing the world through Rose Colored Glasses! I haven’t played in my fairy tale journal in a while and I wanted to add a couple of sparkly things that have happened this holiday season. I am also hoping to start a new fairy tale journal in 2026! Thank you so much for your patience with the uploading of the videos today. (Gremlins in the Studio today). However, lesson learned, I will be filming next week’s video much earlier.
