Hello and Happy March! In this video I show you my process in creating the beginning “introduction” page for the month of March. This is the page that is at the beginning of each happy planner, I changed it up a bit to include “Right Now” information. Information such as what we are dreaming, making, pinning etc. I love adding this information at the beginning of each month, its fun to reflex on and see what were we doing and feeling!
Stay Tuned, I will be creating videos showing how I document the month of March! Thanks for Watching!
Oh I come to the Garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses and the voice I hear falling on my ear, the son of God discloses…this is one of my favorite hymns. I love mornings where all things are fresh and new. The birds are waking and chirping, the ground is moist from the night before. The idea of grapping a cup of coffee or tea and heading to the garden with my journal to spend time alone with your thoughts, prayers and God. I feel like a garden can be anywhere, it can be through the gates and into a field, or a special place in your backyard or even out on your apartment patio. It’s wherever your imagination takes you!
The art piece for this kit is called “Queen of Healing Hearts” She has been part of my collection for a while and people have told me she speaks to them. Many of these people are caregivers. This kit was so much fun to put together! Each item is carefully selected and assembled to match a perfect little kit just for you or to send to a dear friend to enjoy! A special side note, there are prints available of the art work to create this kit.
This kit sold out so quickly! Yay, for another fun month!
Hello! As part of my goal for 2019, I wanted to start journaling again every single day. I use to be so diligent about keeping up with my journal but life gets busy and then several days go by, then weeks and before you know it months. I wanted to fill these journals with stories while adding pictures and ephemera. Here is a flip through of my first completed journal. I can’t express how excited I am and glad I have made this commitment.
Yay! I was so excited when y’all requested a “plan with me” video to show my process for Memory keeping in my Happy Planner! Or as I call it Life at a Glance! I call I hope this helps you in your journey in documenting. Also, this has spiked my imagination and thought how fun it would be to show different artsy ways to create and save memories! So stayed tuned for more videos!
Hello 2019! I know we are currently in February but it takes me a while to gather, write and figure out a planner and journal system for 2019. I have summed it up in the following notebooks.
1) Vintage 1920’s diary for writing inspiration such a scriptures and quotes.
2) My Everyday Planner which is a personal size ring bound planner. This literally houses EVERYTHING! Appointments, ideas, notes, daily schedules. I carry this everywhere and I love to make it pretty and magical to look at! This means tassels, paperclips and pretty papers!
3) Traveler’s Notebook Journal~ This is also something I carry with me daily. You never know when you may have a chance to write! Mu goal this year is to write daily.
4) Happy Planner for Business~ This is a new planner in my current system. In the past I have kept my business planning in with my personal planner but I have new goals this year for my business and need a planner to keep me on task.
5) Happy Planner for Memory Keeping~ One of my favorite projects for family documentation. This is what I call a year at a glance.
6) Master Notebook~ This houses sketches, notes, brain dumps, ideas, plans, vacations, birthday parties…pretty much everything!
6) One Little Word SHINE Notebook~ This is my notebook to write, document and allow the word SHINE into the everyday. (I posted a video yesterday on this notebook for a closer look).
So that is my System for the year. I created a quick video where I talk about each as well! Thanks for watching!
I am so excited to be completed with the introduction to my One Little Word Journal. I use the prompts from Ali Edwards “One Little Word” class to guide me in setting the tone for the new year and what I plan to accomplish. This is one of my favorite projects. I start out with writing about the past year and setting goals for the new year. This includes my creative business, my family, my home and just different aspects of my life. I also incorporate my One Little Word into the goals I want to set for myself for the upcoming year. This process sometimes takes a while but it’s worth it because at the end of the year, I will go back and reference and look at where I have come or what didn’t quite work out the way I expected. In this video, I show you a flip through of my SHINE journal. I plan to use this for the monthly prompts and just when I need to journal about my word. I used a composition notebook and in the video you will see how I construct and plan to use it. Thanks for watching! Rebecca
If you love Alice and all the whimsy characters she meets along the way on her adventure you will love to adorn your planner and journal with this journal set. From the Alice print on the Traveler’s Notebook ,the stickers and journal cards this journal set will have you giddy for sure! The set is guaranteed to put you in the mood for tea and possibly have you believing in as many as six impossible things before breakfast! Doesn’t that sound fun for the imagination! For this kit I created additional art with the characters Queen of Hearts, Cheshire Cat, The Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit. They were made into stickers and journal cards.
The journal sets come with a choice of the entire kit or your can purchase each separately! I hope you are inspired to create something wonderful!
Hello! One of my goals for 2019, is to start creating videos using products found in the Create with Rebecca Stationery/Planner/Journal Kits (CWR Kits). The Valentine kit is filled with all thing pink, red and lots of hearts! Included is these super cute puffy heart shaker stickers.
I created a fun little wand using these stickers that can be slipped into your journal, planner or pencil holder. The possibilities are endless! In this video I show you a couple of designs I made. I hope you are inspired to create a fun wand too! There are still a few kits available in the shop!
February is right around the corner with all it’s pinks, reds, hearts and of course chocolate. Growing up I LOVED February for just this reason… Valentines Day. I can still see a visual of me sitting on the bus with my box of valentines ready to be handed out to my classmates. I also remember making valentine boxes out of shoeboxes and paper plates and hang for all your friends to fill with cards. Then I became a teenager and a young adult and experienced having a NON-romantic boyfriend during Valentines and I remember breaking up with this boyfriend because he did absolutely NOTHING for this special date meant for LOVE. I also remember working in an office environment feeling less love because everyone else in the office received a large bouquet of flowers and my desk sat blah with NO flowers, chocolate or love notes. Now that I’m older and wiser (wink, wink) I do not put so much emphases on receiving Valentines to make me feel important or loved. Now, I enjoy the hearts and all the pinks and reds for the fun and LOVE of it all. So in the midst of the season to spread love I wanted to share one of my girls “Love Letters” with you. Print on sticker sheet or cardstock and cut! ENJOY!! Happy February! Happy Hearts and Happy Valentines Day! ~ Rebecca Hoot
The Valentine “Heart String’s CWR Kit is now available!
Don’t you just love Valentines, all the pink and reds and hearts! I remember making make handmade valentine boxes in elementary. Some were make out of shoe boxes and one year it was two paper plates sewn together and decorated! I just loved opening the little envelopes filled with bright colored images wishing me a Happy Valentine’s Day! The art piece created for the Valentine Heart Strings kit was inspired by the little BonBons that rolled and dance out of Mother Gingers giant hoop skirt during the Nutcracker Ballet I saw during the Christmas Holidays. Oh I knew would have to create a piece of art with the adorable little outfits! This kit was so much fun to put together! Each item is carefully selected and assembled to match a perfect little kit just for you or to send to a dear friend to enjoy!I wanted to have all the images and colors to pull on your heart strings this Valentine season. A special side note, there are prints available of the art work to create this kit. The Valentine Kit will take the place of the February Kit.
