Hello! I am so excited to start this series of videos with you! This is the first of 12 videos focused on preparing, organizing and creating for the Christmas season for your journal and December Daily.
I have participated in December Daily and documented December through Journaling since 2011 and love this project. I have learned over the years that the key is being ready and organized so all your journaling needs are at your fingertips!

Hello!! I gearing up to start planning out and preparing for December Daily and Journaling during the most wonderful time of the year! In this video I show you the two Traveler’s Notebooks I will be using for documenting and a quick "show and tell" of the Junque Journals available in the shop! Also, make your calendars, starting November 19-30 I will be starting a 12 days of journaling series leading up to December 1st. it’s going to be fun and creative!

Hello! I’m already starting my November 2017 journal and realized I haven’t shown a video on my completed Aug-Sept journal. These traveler’s notebook usually last me a month once I fill the pages with a mixture of photos, paints ,words and smashing in ephemera. I really love this process because not only can I document our story but let my creativity flow! I hope you are inspired to journal too!

I love this form of documentation where you pick a day and follow the day, hour by hour and take photos. It is fun even if all you are doing is working and going to the store. That is life, it’s your story. I’m using my Standard Size traveler’s notebook to document, perfect timing for this will close out the journal and I’ll be ready to start the holidays with a new Junque Journal.
Hello! Tis the season to be organized and keeping yourself sane! I started the process of keeping a spiral notebook planner from year to year since 2009. I use this as a guide from to see how I prepared for Christmas in years past. This includes traditions, gift purchased, meals prepared and cards sent. In this video I show you what I need to plan in the holidays and how keeping a notebook helps me keep track of Christmas past.

Hello!! In this video I show you my creative process for using a vintage pattern cutout to make a tag to tip into my journal. I use watercolor, acrylics and Gelatos. After filming the video I looked up what Gelatos are made of and it is an oil paint manufactured with wax. Fun Fact!! That explains why I cannot write onto the Gelatos. Hello! In today’s video I show you how I’m creating a Gratitude Junque Journal Ring. In the October Create with Rebecca Stationery/ Planner Kit there was a bag of bits to start this project. In this video I show you my process of gathering and pre-creating pages for easy journaling in the upcoming months. I hope you are inspired to create a gratitude journal or junque ring as well.

Hello! I had a few questions on how I created the burlap owl I posted last weekend on Instagram. I had the owl sitting in the wreath on my front door. I found the step by step photos from a blog post I created a while back to show you the process. I used a coloring book as a template for the design, but you could also use owl clip art free printables from the web, I found several designs on this website.
I cut each pieces out individually and used Burlap material for the body, you will want to cut two full owl shapes, one for the front and one for the back, because the owl will be stuffed with cotton filling
I used felt for the hat, eyes and feet.
I layered and hand stitched the eyes
You will want to attach the eyes and wings to the body before sewing the body together.
I used the sewing machine to sew the body, although you could hand stich as well. Remember to keep the top open to stuff the body with filler
For the hat I cut two pieces of black felt, because I will be stuffing the hat as well
Once the hat is stitched leave the bottom open to stuff with filler
I placed the hat onto the body and handstitched the hat to the body, this can be a bit tricky
All done!
He can be placed in a wreath, on a tabletop… the fun thing is you can use different material to make a whole village of owls!

Hello! It’s time for another journal set-up video! My last journal was filled in about a month running late August to September so I’m ready for an October themed journal. In this video, I show you how I prepare and create a few accessories to make creative journaling accessible on the go. I moved into a standard size Traveler’s Notebook this month because I wanted to use this fun cardstock for the cover and I already had the notebook cut. Excited to fill the pages! I hope you are inspired to journal too!
